•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Groundling form--In this shape, Chime looks a lot like a human. He's unusually tall (topping out six and a half feet) and rather gangly and awkward, but he could pass from a distance. His skin is dark and his hair is brown and fluffy, and he could almost pass for a man in his twenties or so. However, his feet are outsized, practically armored, and a tiny bit clawed (he never wears shoes), his teeth are a bit too big and sharp, and his eyes are a bit reptilian.
Raksura form-- Chime jumps up to about eight feet tall with a nearly twenty-foot wingspan. His skin is covered in blue scales with a faintly gold sheen. Both feet and hands have massive, slashing claws (his feet are digitigrade in this form) and his teeth are a whole lot bigger. He has a long tail with a spade-shaped tip. The wings most resemble a bat's. This body is much lighter. Clothes and small items disappear while shifted.
Both-- Whichever form he's in, Chime reacts like a predatory dragon person. Speech is punctuated by hissing and growling, his enhanced senses can lead to strange reactions, and he'll still smell like a predator to anyone with the ability to do that. It's also quite common for magical or psychic abilities to be able to suss out something weird about him. He also has a habit or forgetting how important clothes are to other species. He knows how to be fancy, but casually, who cares?
•DEMEANOR: Chime tries for polite and cheerful, but veers easily into subdued and snarky. He will be trying to make friends with everybody, something he's not very good at, and failures will discourage him. He'll be lonely without his colony and looking for attention/affection/whatever he can get. He may occasionally make ridiculous threats and act like something much more imposing than a skinny nerd who wants to tell you about this great book he read. That's the warrior coming out. Please ignore it.
•ABILITIES: Chime can shapeshift into a big, scaly, sharp monster with wings, most notably. He also has unreliable magic detecting abilities that often translate into being really easy to trick with spells and psychic shenanigans, which could be fun. He's also really good at research and book binding.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: The groundling form is proportioned a little funny but will respond to human-appropriate treatments. The other form has hollow bones and is generally pretty light and delicate, so if it gets hurt, he could be in trouble. Wing injuries are especially dangerous and can damage flight abilities. He's also very prone to respiratory ailments. Raksura are fast healers, though.
•CABIN INFORMATION: The door isn't actually a door, but a stiff, weighted curtain over a carved wooden arch. Inside, the room is not only made of wood but appears to have been grown that way, with the bed in particular hanging from the ceiling like it grew there. which it did, at least where he's from. The bed is big enough for several people and is essentially a bowl hanging from the ceiling. There's no other furniture to speak of, just stacked baskets and cushions. Everything he has is pretty, carved or painted or inlaid with shinies, and he's happy to display his tea set or jewelry collection or anything else that might interest.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: He's touchy. Don't bring up too much about his broken magic, especially. He also has a particularly overactive aversion to anything to do with cannibalism or desecration of the dead. Don't ask.

•MENTAL: Yes, he's quite susceptible to this kind of thing, though he has the experience to figure out what's going on, and will be upset. That's freaking rude. And potentially evil.
•MIMICRY: Sure, though the voice, in particular, would bother him
•VIOLENCE: Yes, keeping in mind he can have dinosaur claws if he wants
•MAGIC: Yes, though its effects might be unpredictable and weird, given his own broken magic. We should talk.
